Worship with St. Matthew’s

Join us Sunday Mornings for Worship at 9am and on Thursdays at 10am (in the Chapel).

Dear friends,

It is good to dedicate time each week to be with God amongst fellow pilgrims. To bring to this sanctified space our needs, our wonderings, our prayers for the world, for our families, and for ourselves. To offer God our thanks and praise. To open Scripture (the Bible) and allow the timeless stories and teachings within to transform us as we grow as friends and followers of Jesus. To break bread together in the sacrament of Holy Communion, become one with Jesus the Christ whom we receive as food. The only food that will satisfy our hunger for God.

It would be great to see you on Sunday, or at any of our weekly events and gatherings. Please do make yourself known.

We read in the Bible “do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).   May this peace of God be yours.  May nothing rise to trouble you; only, seek first and know the peace of God everywhere and in everything.

Arohanui,

Revd. Amy Houben
